On our routine exercise walk her indoors (working from home) pointed out an odd looking group of snowdrops, so I stuck one in my pocket for later perusal. Turned out it was Galanthus woronowii, the Green-leaved Snowdrop. Wide, flat, and slightly hooded leaves are bright green, without a hint of the glaucous bloom usually seen on snowdrops.
I'm trying to persuade her she has a calling for botany, but she's not having it.

Tell Lerz from me, if her botany is half as good as her cooking she'll be better at plants than you are by the end of the year :)
ReplyDeletehaha - if her botany's any good she'll be better than me by the end of the month. I'll tell her
